Father and Son duo, Kevin and Andrew Charter of Wimblington based Parkfield Archers
made the 180 mile round trip to Wix in Essex on Sunday 29th January to take part in an
Indoor American round Archery Tournament, held at the Wix Equestrian Centre.
It proved to be a worthwhile journey for the pair, as both archers came away with first
place in their respective disciplines, Kevin scoring 634 with 31 golds out of a possible
90, to win the Gents Barebow class and Andrew with 664 and 38 golds in the
Junior Gents Recurve.
Winter Coaching Clinics – Registration

As previously announced , indoor coaching clinics are being arranged  at
Littleport on 18 February and at Whittlesey on 17 March .   

Anglia Ruskin University will be providing high speed video recording of individual
archers at these clinics.  

To ensure the maximum benefit for participants, these events will be limited to a maximum of
12 archers per event.  These clinics will be particularly suitable for archers who have
been shooting for at least 2 years , and who have shot, or aspire to shoot for Cambridgeshire.

The cost per archer for each coaching session is £10.  Allocation of places will be on a
first come,first served basis. The registration form is here.
